Hi shijukv
Have you tried a power reset yet? If not, you can try the following steps and do a power reset first to see if it helps.
- Turn off the television.
IMPORTANT:For a projection television that uses an internal lamp, wait 5 minutes after turning off the television to allow the lamp to cool before continuing with the following steps.
- Unplug the television power cord (mains lead) from the electrical outlet.
- Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord (mains lead) back into the electrical outlet.
NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
- Turn on the television.
If the above steps do not help, you can try performing a factory reset. Please note that this procedure will reset the video calibration settings of the TV. If you paid to have your TV screen specially calibrated, you may want to first try performing a power reset instead. Otherwise, any special calibration settings will be lost.
You can find the steps to do the factory reset in this FAQ URL.
If factory reset still does not help, I will recommend that you contact your local Sony Service Centre for further diagnosis.
Thanks!
Regards
Ann
